March blog Giveaway!

Hi, I'm Carrie, and a fellow mom and blogger.  I usually am blogging over at Lifeinthesoupbowl.blogspot.com and am excited to share some information with other moms.

I have 2 daughters, ages 4 and 2 (on the cusp of both their Spring birthdays),and like most of you, am always concerned about the food I give the, the products I use, and the safety of cleaners in my home.

My 4 year old daughter was diagnosed with Sensory Integration "Issues" a few years back; life is challenging to say the least. She is highly sensitive to smells and sounds, and although she tested NEGATIVE for allergies through a blood test, I know she is sensitive to foods and products we use.  She was also diagnosed as "pre-asthmatic" and does a daily inhaler of Flo-Vent to prevent asthma attacks. 

Another friend of mine showed me clinical research studies done by by a company called Shaklee, whom she is a Director for. Shaklee has been around for 56+ years and was recently bought by Roger Barnett for the reason of his child:  his child has asthma and they had to find new products to use inside their home for their son. Products that were safe.

I decided to try these cleaning products and soon realized my 4 year old daughter was not having AS MANY temper tantrums as before, and she had ZERO asthma episodes this past winter.   I then switched to their laundry soap and dryer sheets as well, and have had nothing but positive things to say about them!

November blog giveaway!!!!

Hello everyone!  It's time for another blog giveaway!  We had a great response to our last one so good luck this month!

This month's sponsor is Thirty-One!  My friend Julie is a consultant and has graciously offered to do a giveaway this month! 

This month's giveaway is an Organizing Utility Tote from Thirty One in the Harvest Floral Print!  This is a great bag for new moms because it can serve as a diaper bag!  I love to use it as a day bag if we are going to be out all day, etc.  Fits a ton of diapers,  snacks, water bottles, sippy cups, etc.
